Payment Options

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.


Currency

This website and all pricing on it is presented in US Dollars.  If you are shopping from a different country and place an order, your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency, as during checkout we will process your card in US funds. 


Credit Card Security

Your credit card details are NOT processed or stored by this web site. Your card details are sent to our third-party processor's site: PayPal or Authorize.net during the final stage of checkout. Only transaction tracking numbers and receipt information are transferred back to our site to coordinate your order with your payment.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you.  Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Please contact us at customerservice@doorcloser.com


Tax Charges

For orders made from within the United States sales tax will be applied to all in state orders. Our business is operated from Maryland. We also collect sales taxes for Washington D.C. and Virginia. All other orders are tax free.

If you operate a tax exempt business - Make sure to email us all the relevant information including you tax id in order for us to setup your online account to be tax exempt.

NO Tax exemption/Tax refund will be given after purchase has been processed.


Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Special Order items are non-refundable.

DCSC Returns Policy
Only merchandise in resalable condition may be returned, subject to a 25% restocking charge, and no credits will be issued for return freight or shipping charges. All exchanged or returned products must be in original factory carton, including all packaging materials, manuals, and accessories. Please ship your package freight prepaid using a ground service “insured”. We will not refund or accept packaging that has any type of labeling, magic marker or ink written on factory supplied containers.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

Return requests must be made within 30 days of invoice date. Returned merchandise must be received within 30 days of invoice date.

All returns will be subject to final inspection.

Merchandise must be in original condition and original packaging and not installed. Open packages will not be accepted for returns.

Special orders or custom merchandise is not subject to return unless factory error.

There are absolutely *NO RETURNs on any Electrical Parts* (ex: electric strikes, power supplies, mag locks), weatherstripping (any weatherstripping cut to length), clearance items and open items. Materials returned after 30 days are subject to refusal, and/or higher restock fees.


Cancelled/Refused Orders

Cancelled orders, orders that have not shipped, will be subject to a 15% processing fee at our discretion depending on how far the order is in the fulfillment process. Orders that have been shipped may not be cancelled. Refused deliveries are subject to restocking fees, return shipping charges, and subject to the same guidelines as outlined in our return policy. Refused orders may not be covered by carrier’s insurance - check with the carrier.


Manufacturer Conditional Warranty

Door Closer Service Co. will not credit a customer any monies for a warranty product. The manufacturer of the product will have sole discretion about their products and are subject to the conditional warranty set forth by the manufacturer.
